Using this method to format your drive will
result in a single partition in largest drive
capacity, which is recommended.
Note:
ForWindows2000/XP/VISTA/7,thedefault
file system choice is NTFS. However, you can
also choose to format the drive with FAT32,

32GB.
3.0 FORMAT YOUR HARD DRIVE (Mac OS X)
InMacOSXopenanewFinderwindow
andnavigatetoapplications.Inthefolder
“Utilities”youcanfindtheapplication“Disk
Utility”, open it. Select the drive in the left
column and navigate through right side
options for partition and formatting. Use the
recommended format if you want to use you
drive only with Mac, or use NTFS if you want
to share contents between Mac OS X and
Windows based computers.
