Failures due to data corruption on the internal flash memory device are addressed in this release. Specifically,
when powering on the system and it appears to boot normally but displays the initial configuration screen, the
flash device is functioning properly but file system damage in the data partition has occurred and many or all
preferences have been reset to the factory default values. This release protects against this condition,
allowing the system to restore the last customized value of preferences even if the data partition of the flash is
damaged. You must upgrade to this release prior to this failure occurring for protection against this issue.
