• Attach the rim (ALX) and backboard (AJI) to the backboard brackets by inserting the U-bolt (HHS) through thetop holes of the
backboard and the rim, and securing the U-bolt with washers (HHV and HHT) and nuts (HHI). The smaller, outer diameter of the
washer (HHV) faces upward and goes into the holes at the back of the rim. Be careful to not scratch the rim's powder coating. Do not
completely tighten this hardware until after completing step 2.5.
• Attacher l’anneau (ALX) et le panneau (AJI) aux supports de panneau en insérant le boulon en « U » (HHS) à travers les trous
supérieurs du panneau et de l'anneau. Bien attacher le boulon en « U » à l'aide de rondelles (HHV et HHT) et d'écrous en nylon
(HHI). Le plus petit diamètre extérieur de la rondelle (HHV) est orienté vers le haut et va dans les trous à l'arrière de l'anneau. Veiller à
ne pas rayer la peinture en poudre de l'anneau. Ne pas serrer complètement cette quincaillerie avant avoir completé l'étape 2.5.

apretar por completo este herraje antes de terminar con el paso 2.5.

• Although this step can still be done without it, a socket extension makes
it much easier to do.
