Operating Instructions
Selection of wood groups:
1. Press and hold down the button(Pos.5) in 5 seconds.
(A number will start ashing in the display).
2. Press the button until desired group is shown.
Then wait 5 seconds and it will automaticly go back to measuring mode.
Note: After replacing the battery (Pos.7) the unit will be resets to group 5
automaticlly.

Calibration
1. Select wood group 5 accordign to above.
2. Pull off the protection cover (Pos.1) and turn it up side down
3. Make sure that the two metal calibration points (Pos.2) are in contact with
probes (Pos.3) as shown in picture C and read the value in the display.
4. If the calibration value is within the range of 18% ±1% the unit is in normal
condition.
Note: If the calibration value is outside above range the unit can be sent in
for adjustment or the value over or under 18% can be deducted from the
measured vale to get correct moisture reading.
Measuring the moisture content:
1. Look in “Wood Groups Selection Table” and select correct group (3-7)
depending on what material you need to measure.
2. Remove the protection cover and drive the probes into the wood.
To the most accurat reading the probes should go in minimum 4mm.
Now you can read the wood moisture in the display.
Note: If the measurement is less than 5% the display will show “00%” and if
above 42% it will show ”OL” .
