  If your Lincoln Electric Wire Feeders experience inconsistent wire feeding, even when the drive rolls are turning, several factors could be at play. The gun cable might be kinked or twisted, or the wire could be jammed within. A dirty or worn gun liner, rusty or dirty electrode, or a contact tip with spatter could also be the cause. It is also possible the wrong gun liner, tip, or drive is being used. To resolve this, ensure the gun cable is as straight as possible, remove any jammed wire, and blow out the gun liner with low pressure (40psi or less), replacing it if necessary.

To troubleshoot, ensure the gas supply is on, route the gas hose carefully, open the flow meter valve, try applying filtered shop air at 80psi to the solenoid to remove dirt, and check all solenoid connections.
