  If your Lincoln Electric Welding System has no welder or output power, this may be due to an open in miscellaneous leads, flashing or field circuit, a faulty rotor, potentiometer (R1), stator field winding, field rectifier (D2), or a faulty P.C. Board. If you have checked all possible areas of misadjustment, contact your local Lincoln Authorized Field Service Facility.

Why won't the engine on my Lincoln Electric RANGER IM819-B idle down?

  If the engine of your Lincoln Electric Welding System doesn't idle down to low speed, it could be due to the idler switch being on High Idle, insufficient voltage between terminals #213 and #5E (should be 12V DC), an external load on the welder or auxiliary power, faulty wiring in the solenoid circuit, a faulty idler solenoid, or a faulty P.C. Board. Contact your local Lincoln Authorized Field Service Facility.

  If the engine of your Lincoln Electric Welding System will not go to high idle when using auxiliary power, it could be due to no voltage signal from the current sensor, an auxiliary power load less than 100 to 150 watts, or a faulty P.C. Board. If all recommended possible areas of misadjustment have been checked and the problem persists, contact your local Lincoln Authorized Field Service Facility.
