Turn on the power of the PC and hub.

Connect the product to the switch
hub (as shown in the figure).

Use a network cable and plug it in the LAN port
of the product. Plug the other end of the cable in
the LAN port of the hub.

Connect the product to the switch hub and PC.
Prepare the product, your PC and
switch hub ready for connection.

Make sure that your PC has a LAN port
available for connection to the network cable of
the product.
Attention
1. Please refer to user manual for more detailed
explanation of the hardware installation.
2. Where no switch hub is available, you can search and .
set up the camera using point-to-point link. However,
you may need a jumper and need to change
the LAN configuration on your PC for this purpose. It is
recommended to request a qualified engineer for the
connection or execute the network peering referring to
the user's manual

Summary

Connection Diagram

Prepare for Connection

Ensure PC has a LAN port for network cable connection to the product.

Connect to Power Source

Connect the product directly to its power adapter.

Connect to Switch Hub

Use a network cable to connect the product's LAN port to the hub's LAN port.

Connect Hub to PC

Connect the switch hub to your PC using its network cable.

Power On Devices

Turn on the power for both the PC and the network hub.

Camera Settings Configuration

Start IP Finder

Execute the IP Finder.exe file from the supplied CD.

Find Camera on LAN

Search your LAN for the camera. The factory IP is 192.168.0.20.

Update Network Settings

Enter new IP, Netmask, and Gateway settings for your network environment.

Submit New Settings

Click 'Submit' to validate the entered network settings.

Confirm Settings and Exit

Verify changes and click 'Exit' to quit the IP Finder software.

Internet Explorer Security Settings

Check IE Security Level

Ensure IE security is set to Level II for compatibility.

Configure IE Security

Navigate through IE options to adjust security settings to 'Medium'.

Confirm IE Settings

Click 'OK' to apply the adjusted Internet Explorer security settings.

Accessing the Main Camera Page

Open Internet Explorer

Start a new Internet Explorer window to access the camera.

Login to Camera

Enter the camera's IP address and login with username 'root' and password 'root'.

Enter Control Screen

Access the camera's control screen after successful login.

Install ActiveX Control

Install ActiveX Component

Click 'Install ActiveX Control' when prompted under the IE address bar.

Approve Security Warning

Click 'Install' on the security warning screen to allow installation.

View Camera Interface

Once ActiveX is installed, view the camera image and interface.

Wireless Network Setup

Navigate to Wireless Settings

Access the 'Wireless setting' page via the Network menu.

Scan and Select AP

Scan for nearby wireless APs and select your WLAN AP with encryption.

Configure Network Parameters

Set mode, SSID, encryption, and IP assignment (DHCP or static).

Confirm Wireless Settings

Refresh the page to view the new wireless IP address after saving.

Wireless Operation and Testing

Unplug Ethernet Cable

Disconnect the Ethernet cable to use the camera wirelessly.

Relocate and Power On

Mount the camera in its desired location and power it on.

Perform Final Test

Test connectivity, identify camera with IP Finder, and view video.
