communication. Selecting
“Enabled” allows your note-
book to enter “sleep” mode
and could interrupt data com-

Configuration Utility.
9. The setting for Use Wep
should be either “Disabled”
or “Mandatory”. Wired
Equivalent Privacy (WEP) is
an encryption scheme used to
protect wireless data commu-
nication. The “Disabled” set-
ting prevents the sharing of
data with other computers on
a WEP Network. For data
sharing to be enabled, select
“Mandatory”.
