INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
general instruCtions
This scale is intended for domestic use only. Any
other use (medical or commercial) is not permitted.
Always place the scale on a at, stable surface. Do
not place the scale on the edge of a table or worktop.
Place the container or other food to be weighed in
the centre of the pan.
The scale is a high-precision electronic weighing
instrument: use it with care. Do not attempt to
disassemble it and avoid strong vibrations and
impacts.
Do not press down on it and do not drop the scale.
Do not store objects on top of the appliance.
Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight. Keep
it away from sources of heat and moisture.
Make sure that children do not play with the
appliance.
Do not overload the scale (maximum capacity:
5000 g).
If the result is displayed incorrectly, check that the
batteries and contact points are touching. Replace
the batteries if the scale has not been used for a
long time and then try again.
Avoid using the kitchen scale in places where
magnetic elds could interfere with the information
transmitted by the scale.
When moving the scale to a location with a
temperature dierence of more than 10°C, allow it
to stand for at least two hours before turning it on.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other
liquid and do not expose it to splashing water.
Make sure that no liquid penetrates the scale.
reCyCling the battery
Do not throw the battery away with household
waste.
In order to protect the
environment, the battery
must be disposed of according to current regulations.
Dispose of it at your nearest battery recycling point
or return it to your store.
Do not recharge the batteries, do not disassemble
them, do not throw them into a re.
Do not expose it to high temperatures or direct
sunlight.
Do not burn it.
