  If the mode indicator light blinks quickly and the rake moves continuously, the LitterMaid Pet Care Product is in FAULT mode. This indicates a blockage in front of or behind the rake, or loose litter piled behind the rake preventing its return. To resolve this, turn the unit off and unplug it. Clear any clumps or blockages with the scoop & rake cleaner, ensuring the litter level is below the MAX line. Then, plug the unit back in and turn it on. Also, check that the return plunger on the front right side of the rake track is not stuck.

  If the mode indicator light on your LitterMaid Pet Care Product blinks slowly (once per second), it indicates the litter box is in LOW POWER mode due to low battery power, and the rake function is disabled. Check that the litter box is plugged into a working outlet. Replace the batteries.
