STEP 2. Measure the door thickness & mark the
centre of the doors edge. Use the template to align
the centre line of the template with your door centre.
STEP 3. Mark the hole centres on the door edge for
installation of the mortice lock.
STEP 4. Mark a horizontal line at the bottom of
the template.
STEP 5. Use a set square to mark the horizontal
line to the front and rear of the door.
STEP 6. Fold the template at the desired backset
between 25-70mm on the vertical line & align with
the doors edge on the front of the door.
