Mac only if it works on a different Mac, then check for Mac OS X updates. If it
doesn’t work on a different Mac, then it may be a hardware issue.
NOTE: If you have macOS Mojave 10.14 or later and the scroll wheel stopped working after you
installed or updated Logitech Control Center update, please set the user permissions

Erratic cursor movement
If you are experiencing erratic movement when you use your mouse, it may be due to the
following:
Jittering or random movements
Likely cause:
Dirty sensor lens.
Crack in the sensor lens.
Jumping
Likely causes:
Polling issue (firmware issue).
Possible tracking height (mouse pad /surface tuning software issue).
Drifting (in one direction, over lots of mouse movement)
Likely cause:
Bad sensor placement (hardware issue) may be able to solve with surface tuning
(Gaming only).
Lagging (delayed cursor after mouse movement or missing cursor movement)
Likely causes:
Connection issue.
Interference issue.
No movement
Likely causes:
Surface tuning issue.
Break in Sensor circuit (PCB hardware issue).
