open for up to 30 seconds or as long as the Shutter Release Button /
Self–Portrait Mirror 7 is pressed. If you want to expose for longer than 30
seconds, you can use the multiple exposure function to expose the same
film multiple times to accumulate exposure time. (For multiple exposures,
please see chapter below.)
AUTO OFF FUNCTION
Regardless of which shooting mode is selected, the Lomo’Instant Automat will
automatically switch off after 5 minutes of inactivity in order to save battery
power. To reactivate the camera, simply press any button on the Lomo’Instant
Automat.
FLASH ON/OFF BUTTON
When the camera is turned on, the flash is “On” by default. This means every time
you switch your camera on, the flash will automatically be “On”. If you want to
shoot without flash, press the Flash On/Off Button 9 once and the built–in flash
will be switched off until the camera is turned off, or you press the Flash On/Off
Button 9 again.
There is a Flash indication light 10 next to the Flash On/ Off Button 9:
e Green light on: The flash is fully charged and ready to shoot
e Red light on: The flash is recharging
