6. STARTING THE ENGINE
1) Manual starting

. Cut off all loads from the output end.

. Turn the fuel cock to the ON position.
○

. Put the choke lever in the OFF position.
Do not shut off the choke if the engine is started when it is warm.

. Put the engine switch in the ON position.

.Gently pull up the starter grip and pull it out briskly when a resistance is felt.
○

. When the engine has warmed up, put the choke lever in the ON position.
7. STOPPING THE ENGINE

. Turn off engine switch.
○

. Turn off fuel cock.
If an emergency stop of the engine is needed, the engine switch
should be put in the OFF position。
