USE OF DIFFERENTIAL LOCK
The differential is fitted with a locking device which must be used when one
of
the rear wheels running
on
muddy or slippery ground, tends to slip. To en-
gage the differential
lock
slow
down the
tractor
and depress the
proper
pedal
(11
fig. 12) all the way down.
As the pedal is released, the
lock
automatically disengages, but if
it
fails to
do so,
kick
the brake pedal of one
of
the wheels (when plowing, the wheel
outside the
furrow
).
