Long 460 - TOWING DEVICES; Swinging Drawbar Operation

USE OF REMOTE CONTROL VALVE
This unit (fig. 24) cannot be used at the same time with the hydraulic power
lift. When actuating single-ac ting power cylinders , the remote control valve
should be
plugged with plug 1. For double - acting power cylinders remove plug 1
and fit
connection 2.
USE OF TOWING DEVICES
A whole range of towing devices is availabl e, as an extra , for 460 tractors .
The use
of one type of towing device rather than another depends on trailer or
implement type to be attached .
Swinging drawbar, rear-mounted
This device is fitted for agricultural implements and trailers with two . axles.
It is not suitable
for single-axle trailers, because these impose an excessive
load on the
drawbar with the risk of making the tractor rear. It is adjustable for
height= this is done by fixing the support arms (1) to the quadrant (2) . There are
four steps available
for height adjustment (distance measured between ground
and drawhook center) i.e.: minimum 3. 74
