The
tractor
front
axle consists of three parts: a
center
·
section
and
two
axle
ends
which
carry the wheels and
which
slide inside the center
section
and
allow
for
track
adjustment
within
the range shown on page
7.
To adjust
front
wheel
track
, proceed
as
follows:
lift
front
axle, remove
screws
3 and slacken
screw
5. Depending on
how
wide
or
narrow
you
want
the wheel
track, move steering
knuckle
supports
apart from
or
near to the
front
axle. Then
tighten the retaining
screws
and tie-rod clamps.
Rear wheel
adjustment
Rear wheel
track
adjustment
(fig. 34)
within
the range set out on page 7
is provided
for
through
the
possibility
to vary the
position
of
the wheel
dishes
.
The rear wheel
discs
can be mounted with the dish facing in
or
out. Each of
these positions gives
different
settings
as
shown in fig . 34.
To dismantle and reassemble the
discs
and wheels,
place
a ja
ck
under
the
rear transmission
housing
.

CAUTION!
In
making
the
rear
wheel
adjustment
be
careful
that
the
ribs
of
the tire
tread
point
in the
correct
direction
for
forward
travel
, as
indicated
by
the
arrow.
