  There are several reasons for a noisy LOWES Fan. The blades may be loose, requiring you to tighten all blade screws. A cracked blade will also cause noise, so replace the blade if needed. If you have a full range dimmer switch, replace it with an approved speed control device. Also, if the fan is new, allow it a “break in” period of a few days, especially when running the fan at Medium and High speeds.

  Excessive wobbling in your LOWES Fan can be due to several factors. Ensure that all blade screws and washers are tightened. If the blades are unbalanced, try switching one blade with a blade from the opposite side. Also, turn the power off, carefully loosen the canopy, and verify that the mounting bracket is secure. If the fan is too close to a vaulted ceiling, use a longer downrod or move the fan to another location. Finally, make sure the set screw(s) on the motor assembly yoke is (are) tightened properly.

  If your LOWES Fan isn't moving, there could be several reasons. First, make sure the reverse switch is fully engaged by pushing it firmly either left or right. Check if the power is on or if a fuse is blown. Turn the power off, loosen the canopy, and check all wire connections. If the learning code process between the fan and remote control transmitter may not have been successful and learning code was not activated, turn off the power and repeat instructions in Step 2 on page 14. Finally, ensure that the blades are properly attached to the fan.
