Getting Started With Your Electronic Lock
Your new lock is ready for you to program. Here are the basics you need to know. The keypad has digits 0 – 9, plus “C” (clear) and
“#”. You will use # when programming the lock. On the inside, under the battery cover there is a Set Button, used to start a pro-
gramming session.
Your lock comes preset with a Programming Code. It is 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 - 6- 7 - 8 We encourage you to change this to another 4 to
8 digit code that will not be so obvious. Here’s how you do it:
1. Press and hold the “Set Button” until the lock beeps
2. Enter 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 - 8.
3. Push #.
4. Enter 1 - 0.
5. Press #.
6. Enter your new 4 to 8 digit Programming Code.
7. Press #.
8. Enter your new 4 to 8 digit Programming Code again.
9. Press #. Write down the new Programming Code.
Now it’s time to enter one or more User Codes. These can be 4 to 8 digits long. You will use these to unlock the door from outside.
You can have up to 25 different codes. Here’s how you add a User Code:
1. Press and hold the “Set Button” until the lock beeps.
2. Enter your Programming Code on the keypad.
3. Press # .
4. Enter 2 - 0.
5. Press #.
6. Enter the 4 to 8 digit User Code you want to add.
7. Press #
8. Enter the 4 to 8 digit User Code you want to add again.
9. Press #. Write down the new User Code.
If you have model TS960, adding a User Card is even easier. You can have 25 of these, also.
1. Press and hold the “Set Button” until the lock beeps.
2. Enter your Programming Code on the keypad.
3. Press #.
4. Enter 2 – 3.
5. Press #.
6. Hold the card against the touchscreen. Take it away. Then hold it against the touchscreen again. The card is now valid.
Eventually you will want to disable a User Code. Here’s how you do it:
1. Press and hold the “Set Button” until the lock beeps.
2. Enter your Programming Code on the keypad.
3. Press #.
4. Enter 3 – 0.
5. Press #.
6. Enter 4 to 8 digit User Code you want to delete.
7. Press #.
8. Enter the 4 to 8 digit User Code you want to delete again.
9. Press #.
