Perform Check of RT Remote Alarms
1. Is system being equipped located in a frame-type RT with bulk powering
(J1C182BB bulk power shelf or J1C182PB optics power shelf)?
If
YES,
then proceed to Step
8.
If
NO,
then continue with Step
2.

NOTE:
This procedure should only be performed if system is equipped with
working batteries and battery charger(s).
Turn off circuit breaker (or unplug power cord) for power shelf.
3. Are
PMN
or
P/M
indicators on
BCU
s and
NE
indicators on
ADU
s lighted after
approximately 4 minutes?
If
YES,
then proceed to Step
5.
If
NO,
then continue with Step
4.
4. Check wiring using SD-7C118-01. Repeat procedure from Step
3
after locat-
ing and correcting trouble.
5. Restore AC power to power shelf.
6. Do
PMN
or
P/M
indicators on
BCU
s and
NE
indicators on
ADU
s go off after
approximately 4 minutes?
If
YES,
then proceed to Step
8.
If
NO,
then continue with Step
7.
7. Check wiring using SD-7C118-01. Repeat procedure from Step
3
after locat-
ing and correcting trouble.
