continue with this Step. Locate, using CO or engineering records, points where
MISC1 and MISC2 remote alarms are activated.
9. Activate MISC1 remote alarm.
10. Is
MISC1
indicator on
BCU
lighted?
If
YES,
then proceed to Step
12.
If
NO,
then continue with Step
11.
11. Check wiring using SD-7C118-01 or SD-7C118-02. Repeat procedure from
Step
9
after locating and correcting trouble.
12. Deactivate MISC1 remote alarm and activate MISC2 remote alarm.
13. Is
MISC1
indicator on
BCU
off and
MISC2
indicator on
BCU
lighted?
If
YES,
then proceed to Step
15.
If
NO,
then continue with Step
14.
14. Check wiring using SD-7C118-01 or SD-7C118-02. Repeat procedure from
Step
9
after locating and correcting trouble.
15. Deactivate MISC2 remote alarm.
16. Verify that
MISC2
indicator on
BCU
goes off.
17. Is system equipped with the Fiber-To-The-Home feature?
If
YES,
then continue with Step
18.
If
NO,
then proceed to Step
321.
18. At optics power shelf assembly, replace fuse in
CMN
fuse holder with blown
fuse in
BFU3
(if equipping the lower dual bank assembly) or
BFU4
(if equip-
ping the upper dual bank assembly).
