Visually Inspect DC Powering, Grounding,
Copper Termination, and Fiber Termination
at 900A2 or 900A3 Distant Terminal
1. Use a 216C tool to open (loosen the lock nuts and pivot the top over) the
pedestal containing 900A2, or 900A3 distant terminals (DTs) and DC power
module. (Figure 1)

2. Verify that 900A2 or 900A3 DT closure, drop wire protector panel, splicing
chamber, and DC power interface box have been properly mounted to wall of
pedestal (Figure 2).
