NOTE:
The MC97771A1 or MC97776A1 BCU will detect if an incorrect version
circuit pack is installed. The incompatible circuit pack will have the
FAIL
indicator on. If the circuit pack is incompatible, for the system
configuration, the FAIL indicator will go off when the LED TEST button is
pressed.
Are any
FAIL
indicators lighted?
If
YES
, then continue with Step
24.
If
NO
,
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
24. Observer circuit pack(s) with
FAIL
indicator on. Then press and hold
LED
TEST
on
ADU
.
25. Did
FAIL
indicator go off when the
LED TEST
test button was pressed?
If
YES
, then continue with Step
26.
If
NO
, then proceed to Step
27.
26. Replace circuit pack with the required version and required option setting.
Then repeat from Step
23.
