7. Trouble on digital line associated with digroup B. Verify that digital pairs have
been connected to the proper outside plant cable pairs. Use 363-205-500 or
363-202-500 TOP fault-locating procedures to locate trouble.
8. Request COT personnel to install
LIU
circuit packs in
LIU D
slot.
Response: All alarms clear.
9. After COT installs
LIU D
, did all alarms clear?
If
NO
, then continue with Step
10

If
YES
, then
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
10. Perform the following items to clear trouble:
• At COT, check

options and replace
LIU
if options are correct.
• At RT, check

options and replace
ADU

• At RT, check

11. After performing the above Step, did all alarm indicators go off?

NO
, then continue with Step

12. Trouble on digital line associated with digroup D. Verify that digital pairs have
been connected to the proper outside plant cable pairs. Use 363-205-500 or
363-202-500 TOP fault-locating procedures to locate trouble.
13. Request COT personnel to install
