15. Perform the following items to clear trouble:
• At COT, check
ADU

LIU
options and verify correct version common
units are installed.
• At RT, check
ADU
options and replace
ADU
if options are correct.
• At RT, check
LIU
options and replace
LIU
if options are correct.
16. After performing the above Step, did
LIU-A, -B CLF
(and -P if equipped) and
BCU A
and
B
indicators go off?
If
NO
, then continue with Step
17

If
YES
, then proceed to Step
18

17. Trouble on digital line associated with digroup B. Verify that digital pairs have
been connected to the proper outside plant cable pairs. Use 363-205-500 or
363-202-500 TOP fault-locating procedures to locate trouble.
18. Request COT personnel to install
TRU
for shelf group CD
Response: All alarms clear with in 4 minutes.
19. After COT installs
TRU
CD, did all alarms clear?
If
NO
, then continue with Step
20
.
If
YES
, then
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
20. Perform the following items to clear trouble:
• At COT, check
ADU
and
LIU
options and verify correct version common
units are installed.
• At RT, check
ADU
options and replace
ADU
if options are correct.
• At RT, check
LIU
options and replace
LIU
if options are correct.
21. After performing the above Step, all alarms clear?
If
NO
, then continue with Step
22

YES
, then
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
22. Trouble on digital line associated with digroup D. Verify that digital pairs have
been connected to the proper outside plant cable pairs. Use 363-205-500 or
363-202-500 TOP fault-locating procedures to locate trouble.
