Perform End-to-End Test When Converting a Feature
Package B Mode 1 to Mode 2
SUMMARY:
Have COT personnel remove
LIU
circuit packs then install TAU (
TRU
for FPB COT) circuit packs in
LIU
slots

and

. Verify that when the COT personnel
installs the
TAU
, the RT
LIU CLF
indicator goes off and the Digroup alarms clear. If a
FPB COT is connected to the RT (not
SLC-
96 COT), alarms clear after the
TRU
s are
installed. This procedure assumes the system is
universal
. If the system is
integrated
,
the switching personnel will have to remove service on all digroups before converting
to Mode 2. As switching personnel restores service to the digroups, verify that the RT
digroup alarms clear.

NOTE:
When starting this procedure, all digroups indicators will be lighted on
the BCU.
In the following steps
