. If trouble does not clear, check
wiring using SD-7C117-01 or SD-7C117-02 (SD-7C118-01 or SD-7C150-01
for FTTH).

CAUTION:
If you have a FTTH system, STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS
PROCEDURE. Performing this test will result in permanent damage to
AYB1B units in the optical shelf.
Obtain one special service channel unit
AUA41, AUA42, AUA43, AUA44,
AUA54,
or
AUA52
and install in any channel unit slot except the last four slots
for digroup A.
Response: The
SPL
indicator on the
AUA105 TRU
lights.
12. Did
SPL
indicator light on the
AUA105 TRU
?
If
YES
, continue with Step
13
.
If
NO
, proceed to Step
14
.
13. Remove channel unit and repeat Step
11
for each new digroup (B, C, and D).
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
14. Replace, one at a time, the
AUA105 TRU, AUB27 ADU, MC97771A1
or
MC97776A1 BCU
with correct option setting and repeat
SPL
indicator test
after each replacement. If the
SPL
indicator does not light after these units
have been replaced, check wiring using SD-7C117-01 or SD-7C117-02
(SD-7C118-01 or SD-7C150-01 for FTTH).
