STANDARD INSTALLATION
1. Fixing position
First mark the positions you wish to install the brackets, making sure to avoid the limit
stops in the headrail. The maximum distance between brackets should be 950 mm.
The brackets should be equally spaced across the width and level. Check this with a spirit level!
Make sure the blind will clear any obstructions such as window handles etc.
2a. Installing ‘inside recess’
Fix the brackets with the top against the frame, the coving or the ceiling as shown.
2b. Installing ‘outside recess’
Remove the lip at the top of the bracket and fix the brackets with the back against the frame
or the wall as shown. Remove the lip at the bottom of the bracket if it is preventing the
bracket from sitting at a right angle to the wall.
INSTALLATION OPTIONS
3a. PowerRise® filler blocks
When installing the PowerRise® system with an internal battery compartment, at least one
12 mm filler block and one 6 mm filler block must be installed per support.
3b. Spacer blocks (optional)
If the shades are being face fixed, spacer blocks 12 mm or 6 mm, can be used to increase the
clearance to the window. (maximum 36 mm).
3c. Extension brackets (optional)
Where a larger clearance is required, extension brackets can be used in conjunction with
standard brackets to give a clearance of between 10 mm and 60 mm from the window.
The fixing positions and levels should all be as for standard face fitting. Refer to item 1 for
bracket distribution and checking horizontal levelling.
INSTALLATION
4a. Headrail
• Position the shading so that the front (colored fabric) faces you.
• Slide the headrail into the installation brackets so the edge of the headrail is between the
lever and the bracket, as shown.
• Firmly push the headrail into each bracket until it clicks and the lever snaps to the right
side of the bracket.
• IMPORTANT: Carefully pull on the headrail at each bracket to ensure it is installed
securely.
4b. Frame-side cover strip (optional)
For ‘in recess’ mounting the reverse side of the product can be decorated by fitting a cover
strip. The view to inside of the rail can be eliminated by fitting the supplied clips and strip.

• Lower the shading keeping the vanes closed.
• Place the hold-down bracket onto the bottom rail just inside the bottom rail end cap.
• Adjust the bracket to the best overall position and mark its location on the wall.
Warning: Mark the screw location so that the screw will be placed in the middle of the
channel. This allow for adjustment.
• Fasten the hold-down brackets to the mounting surface, use the screws provided
• Adjust the bracket location for proper operation, if necessary.
5a. ‘Inside recess’
Fit with screws through the sides of the brackets, at the appropriate position when the
shade is lowered.
5b. ‘Outside recess’

shade is lowered.
OPERATION

on the front of the cord loop to close the vanes and raise the shade.
6b. UltraLift™ (optional)

the vanes. Pull the cord straight downward to close the vanes and to raise the blind.

Lower the shade fully and allow it to hang for approximately 1 minute. Raise the shade
slowly. If the fabric starts to roll to one side and the fabric bunches, stop raising the shade
immediately. Lower the shade completely again. Adjust the shade by releasing the fastening
clips and sliding the bottom rail weight (A) towards the side the fabric was gathering, in
2 cm steps. Repeat this until the shade rolls up correctly.
