HealtHRestRiCtions Use the LYRIC only when in full possession of your physical and mental faculties. Individuals with the
following conditions should not operate the LYRIC:
Heart conditions
Head, back, or neck ailments, or prior surgeries to those areas
Any mental or physical conditions that may make individuals susceptible to injury or impair their
physical dexterity or mental capabilities to recognize, understand, and perform all of the safety
instructions and to be able to assume the hazards inherent in the unit’s use
Pregnant women
Individuals under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or prescription medications that may cause
drowsiness, affect balance and judgment
balanCe The rider must be capable of safely riding a bicycle on his/her own.
nostuntsoRHoRsePlay The LYRIC is not developed for any type of tricks, stunts, jumping,wheelies or racing.
notadisabilitydeviCe The LYRIC has not been designed, tested or approved as an assistance device for physically
disabled. The driver must, under all circumstances, be capable of riding a bicycle without any
assistance or training wheels.
beKind Regardless of where you use the LYRIC, operators should always show courtesy to others and ride
in a safe and suitable manner.
dRiveR’sliCense If required by law, you must carry a valid driver’s license that is locally accepted for riding the LYRIC.
insuRanCe Make sure you are covered with insurance for both you and your LYRIC.
oPeRatoR The owner must ensure that any operator of the LYRIC fully reads, understands and follows all
instructions in this manual. A demonstration to ensure that the rider understands the operation
of the LYRIC is strongly advised.
modifiCations Do not remove, modify or alter any components of the LYRIC. Any modification can cause
malfunctions and the loss of warranty claims. Modifications can be dangerous and lead to serious
injuries. Do not open, disassemble or service the battery.
