Chapter 2. Device construction
The router device is an industrial computer which was build in a roboust aluminium
case. Includes a high-capacity, powerful ARM9-based microprocesor (180MHz clock
speed), which runs a customized Linux operation system (made by
WMR
) – what
loads and supervises the programms which are necessary for the proper working.
Several additional device could be connected across the USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI,
serial port, indebted the construction of the router device.
2.1 Internal construction

2 - Micro SD-card mounting extension
3 – LED extension (GSM dataflow activity in case of Siemens Cinterion
interface module)
4 – Interface connector extension (for RS485, MBUS (for ex. calorimeter))
5 – jumper switch option (Wathcdog Microcontroller)
6 – standard interface modular connector
7 – SIM-card tray unit (pos. 1, pos. 2)
8 – PCI Express connector surface (a connected Option GMT380 module can
be seen in the picture, at the next page)
9 jumper switch option (Watchdog reset function)
10 – Dataflash (AT45DB642D) – between the two connection point of the PCI
Express connector
11 – Antenna wire extension and connection (always on the current interface
module)
