Update from grandMA2 console (do not use in live situation)
The 2/4Port Node can be updated from a grandMA console. To do so, the 2Port Node must be present in the
same network as the console (grandMA2, grandMA2 light or grandMA2 ultralight), i.e. the first 3 IP address
groups must be identical. This very console must run the desired software version (3.0 or higher).
If the cell „version“ has a red background, the 2/4Port Node runs a software version different from that of the
console. In this case, you have to adapt the software versions as follows:
Create an USB-stick (FAT 32) with installation program 4port_v1.x.y.update
Open menu SETUP / NETWORK / MA NETWORK CONFIGURATION / DMX Nodes at the console.
Connect USB-stick with the console.
Select the appropriate MA 2/4Port Node in the overview.
Press the button SOFTWARE UPDATE. After the automatic reboot of the MA 2/4Port Node, the cell "Version"
must be grayed.
NOTE: if the warning "waiting for update" appears in the display, the version update is unimplemented.
Repeat the update procedure (see above).
