Themethanealarm/detectionsystemrunsoffthebatteryandisactiveatalltimes
unlessthebatteryisdisconnected.

Ifthebatteryisdisconnected,the
methanedetector/alarmsystemwillnot
operate.

Intheeventthemethanealarmred
lightcomesonandthealarmsounds,
thecabwindowsshouldimmediately
beopened,thevehicleshouldbesafely
stoppedandturnedoff,andpersonnel
shouldexitthecab.Followsafety
precautionsintheSAFETYsectionof
thismanual.
FrostedLNGtank(s),otherthanaroundtheareaoftherearfueltankdoorand
plumbingxtures,indicatesthattheinnertankisleakingintotheoutertank.The
appearanceofavaporcloudaccompaniedbyahissingnoisemayalsoindicatea
methaneleak.Aleakingconditionrequiresserviceonthetank(s)beforethevehicle
canbeoperated.
