Anti theft siren
Code Label
B 1039 Anti theft siren output short to battery.
B 1040 Anti theft siren output short to ground.
The inputs for the anti theft siren are the Ignition, the door switches, the bonnet switches
and command from the RKE.
If the vehicle is in armed condition and it detects any opening of the door then the anti
theft siren is activated.
Even after the siren is activated, if the valid remote is used then the siren will stop.
Note: even if the remote is activated for mute operation the anti theft siren will override
that.
This failure can be due to wires getting short accidentally or a deliberate attempt.
Hence it is recommended that the wiring and connector be inspected carefully. If any
evidence indicates theft attempt then the customer should be informed
