TPMS- Missing Sensor Signal

B 1046 TPMS – Front Right – Missing Sensor Signal Fault
B 1047 TPMS – Rear right – Missing Sensor Signal Fault
B 1048 TPMS – Rear Left – Missing Sensor Signal Fault
Description
The wheel sensors communicate with the controller (which is in the MBFM) using Radio
Frequency (RF) signal.
This error is registered if the TPMS senses that any particular wheel the signal is missing
altogether.
Corrective Action:
1. Check if the wheel is having the tyre sensor.
2. If sensor is present then check the type of the Wheel sensor. The sensor for vehicle
with MBFM is supplied by Schrader ( for non MBFM TPMS – sensor make is Liteon)
3. After fitting the correct sensor. Clear the error.
4. Learn the TPMS sensors
5. Drive the vehicle and confirm that the error is not recreated. ( Minimum speed of
25 Km/hr to be sustained for at least 2 minutes)
