TPMS- Low battery/ transmit fault

B 1049 TPMS – Front Left – Low battery / transmit fault.
B 1050 TPMS – Front Right – Low battery / transmit fault.
B 1051 TPMS – Rear right – Low battery / transmit fault.
B 1052 TPMS – Rear Left – Low battery / transmit fault
Description
The wheel sensors communicate with the controller (which is in the MBFM) using Radio
Frequency (RF) signal.
This error is registered when the MBFM notices that signal strength from any particular
sensor is either weak or signals being received are intermittent faulty
Corrective Action:
1. Replace the particular sensor ( the battery alone cannot be changed)
2. Clear the error and do the TPMS error.
3. Drive the vehicle and confirm that the error is not recreated. (Minimum speed of
25 Km/hr to be sustained for at least 2 minutes)
4. If the error is still present then please check for and RF interference if the vehicle
near to the suspect wheel.
