CHECK THE RHS PRETENSIONER LINES
FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
SRSL3
Turn the ignition key to OFF position.
Remove the Airbag simulator from RHS pretensioner harness connector.
Disconnect Floor Interconnector
Measure the resistance between:
(+) Red Probe of Multimeter
RHS pretensioner connector, harness side
(-) Black Probe of Multimeter
RHS pretensioner connector, harness side
Pin 1 Pin 2
Is the resistance less than 1 ohm?
YES
An intermittent fault may be present in the wiring
harness. Visually check for chaffed wires or other
physical damage to the harness. If no fault is found
in the circuit, suspect the following component(s):
a) RHS Pretensioner connector.
b) Airbag module connector.
c) Floor Interconnector
d) RHS Pretensioner assembly.
e) Airbag module.
NO
Replace the Floor wiring harness.
