CHECK THE DRIVER AIRBAG NEGATIVE
LINE FOR ISOLATION FROM POWER
SRSB2
Measure the voltage between:
(+) Red Probe of Multimeter
Vehicle Battery
(-) Black Probe of Multimeter
Airbag Simulator, Fitted in DAB harness
Positive terminal Black Colour extension
Is the voltage more than 3.7 V?
YES
An intermittent fault may be present in the wiring
harness. Visually check for chaffed wires or other
physical damage to the harness. If no fault is found
in the circuit, suspect the following component(s):
a) Clockspring connector
b) DAB connector
c) Airbag module connector
d) Clockspring assembly
e) DAB assembly
f) Airbag module.
