CHECK THE CLOCK SPRING FOR
ISOLATION FROM POWER
SRSB3
Turn the ignition key to OFF position
Disconnect Clock spring connector (Refer to repair manual for the removal procedure)
Turn the ignition key to ON position
Measure the voltage between:
(+) Red Probe of Multimeter
Vehicle Battery
(-) Black Probe of Multimeter
Clock Spring connector, harness side
Positive terminal Pin 3
Is the voltage more than 3.7 V?
YES
Install the New Clock Spring assembly
(Refer to repair manual for the installation
procedure)
NO
Replace the CCB wiring harness and reactivate the
system.
(Refer to Reactivation sheet.)
