  If your Mak Grills grill displays 'FLAME OUT, CHECK FIREPOT AND HOPPER', it means the hopper has run out of pellets or excessive ash in the firepot is preventing the pellets from lighting. Press any button to end the alarm. Remove all ash from the firepot, ensuring the grill is completely cold first. Unplug the grill before accessing any electrical components.

  If your Mak Grills grill isn't getting as hot as it used to, several factors could be the cause. First, clean the thermocouple located in the back left-hand corner of the main cooking chamber using moistened steel wool. Next, check for clogged exhaust louvers on the back wall of the cooking chamber, including those in the Warmer/Smoker box. Also, try using a fresh bag of pellets, as damp pellets can affect the grill's temperature. Finally, consider changing the brand and variety of pellets, as some, like fruitwood and alder, have lower BTU's compared to hickory, oak, and mesquite.
