Why is my Makita DUH604S Trimmer not reaching full speed?

If your Makita Trimmer isn't reaching its maximum RPM, the battery might be installed improperly (install the battery cartridge as described in this manual), the battery power may be dropping (recharge or replace the battery), or the drive system may not be working correctly. For the latter, consult your local authorized service center.
