USAGE
DC Voltage Measrement, V
• Set the function switch to suitable range: 2000mV, 20V, 200V or 500V.
• Connect the test leads and check the reading.
• The polarity of the red test lead is shown in the display.
• If the display shows ”1” (overload), immediately set a higher range.
AC Voltage Measurement, V~
• Set the function switch to suitable range: 200V or 500V.
• Connect the test leads and check the reading.
• If the display shows ”1” (overload), immediately set a higher range.
DC Current Measurement, mA
• If the expected reading is expected to exceed 200mA, measurement must not be performed.
• Set the function switch to 200mA
• Connect the test leads and check the reading.
• The polarity of the red test lead is shown in the display.
Resistance Measurement, Ω
• Set the function switch to suitable range: 2000kΩ, 200kΩ, 20kΩ, 2000Ω.
• Ensure that the circuit is voltage free.
• Connect the test leads and check the reading.
• If the display shows ”1” (overload), immediately set a higher range.
Battery Test,
• Set the function switch to 1,5V for 1,2 – 1,5V batteries and 9V for 9V batteries.
• Connect the test leads and check the reading.
• The reading shows the battery's remaining current capacity.
Diode Test,
• Set the function switch to
.
• Connect the red test lead to the anode on the diode, and the black test lead to the cathode.
• The reading shows the approximate pass-through voltage at 1mA.
Continuity Test,
• Set the function switch to .
• Connect the test leads across the circuit.
• At a resistance below 50Ω, the buzzer will sound.
Transistor Test, hFE
• Connect the transistor's terminals to the correct sockets, depending on the transistor type.
• The transistor's hFE reading is shown in the display.
