Cooling system
Danger:
Draining hot coolant involves a risk of scalding.
Draining the cooling system
Caution:
Drain coolant into a suitable container and dispose of it in accordance with re-
gulations.
Drain coolant as follows when cooling sys-
tem has cooled down:
D Open cap on filler neck of expansion
tank for pressure compensation and
remove
D Unscrew drain plugs in oil cooler hous-
ing
D Then take off the cap
D Drain coolant into a container of ad-
equate size
D Refit screw plugs
D Fill / bleed the cooling system
