A6 - TIRES PRESSURE AND WHEEL NUTS TORQUE
CHECK
- Check the condition of the tires, to detect cuts, protrusions, wear, etc.
- Check the torque load of the wheel nuts (See fig. A6). Non compliance with
this instruction can cause damage and rupture to the wheel bolts and
distortion to the wheels.
- Check and adjust the tire pressures if necessary (See CHARACTERISTICS
in SECTION 2 - DESCRIPTION).
A7 - BOOM PADS
CLEAN - GREASE
To be carried out every 10 hours during the first 50 hours service, then once
at 250 hours.
- Extend the boom completely.
- With a brush, apply a coat of grease (See LUBRICANTS AND FUEL in
SECTION 3 - MAINTENANCE) on the 4 sides of the telescope(s) (Fig. A7).
- Telescope the boom several times in order to spread the coat of grease
evenly.
- Remove the surplus of grease.

Check that the air hose is correctly connected to the
tire valve before inflating and keep all persons at a
distance during inflation. Respect the recommended
tire pressures given.
CAUTION
Use a silicone spray lubricant when operating in an
abrasive environment: dust, sand, coal, etc.
