C9 - FRONT AND REAR AXLE DIFFERENTIAL OIL
LEVEL
CHECK
Place the lift truck on level ground with the engine stopped.
- Remove level plug 1 (Fig. C9). The oil should be flush with the edge of the
hole.
- If necessary, add oil (See LUBRICANTS AND FUEL in SECTION 3 -
MAINTENANCE) by the filler port 2 (Fig. C9).
- Replace and tighten the level plug 1 (Fig. C9) (Tightening torque 34 to 49
N.m or 25 - 36 ft/lbs).
- Repeat this operation for the rear axle differential.
C10 - FRONT AND REAR WHEELS REDUCERS OIL
LEVEL
CHECK
Place the lift truck on level ground with the I.C. engine stopped.
- Check the level on each front wheel reducer.
- Place level plug 1 (Fig. C10) in the horizontal position.
- Remove the level plug ; the oil should be flush with the edge of the hole.
- If necessary, add oil (See LUBRICANTS AND FUEL in SECTION 3 -
MAINTENANCE) by the same hole.

Replace and tighten the level plug 1 (Fig. C10) (Tightening torque 34 to 49 N.m
or 25 - 36 ft/lbs
).
- Repeat the same operation on each wheel reducer.
