The depth gauge displays the number of feet between your transducer
and the lake bottom. The gauge uses two primary components to take its
readings—the gauge unit and the transducer. The gauge unit contains the
transmitter and receiver, the user controls, and the display. The
transducer is mounted to a transducer bracket at the stern.
Water depth is read from the rear of the boat, so it
is important to proceed carefully when driving into
shallow water.
