- Do not smoke or approach the lift truck
with a flame, when the fuel tank is
open or is being filled.
- Take care not to burn yourself
(Exhaust, radiator, I.C. engine, etc.).
- Disconnect the negative cable terminal
(-) from the top of the battery before
working on the electrical circuit or on
the lift truck (e.g. : Welding).
- Do not drop metallic items on the bat-
tery.
- When carrying out electric welding
work on the lift truck, connect the
negative cable from the equipment
directly to the part being welded, so as
to avoid high tension current passing
through the alternator.
B - Maintenance.
- The maintenance and the keeping in
compliance of the lift truck are compul-
sory.
- Carry out daily maintenance (See
chapter : A - DAILY OR EVERY 10
HOURS SERVICE in paragraph : 3 -
MAINTENANCE).
- Do not run the I.C. engine without air
filter, or with oil, water or fuel leaks.
Wait for the I. C engine to cool before
removing the radiator cap.
- Change the filter cartridges (See ser-
vicing schedules in chapter : FIL-
TERS CARTRIDGES AND BELTS in
paragraph : 3 - MAINTENANCE).
C - Levels.
- Use the recommended lubricants
(Never use contaminated lubricants).
- Do not fill the fuel tank when the I.C.
engine is running.
- Only fill up the fuel tank in areas
specified for this purpose.
- Não fume nem se aproxime do
empilhador com chamas livres quando
o depósito do combustível estiver
aberto ou em fase de abastecimento.
- Cuidado com os riscos de queimadu-
ras (tubo de escape, motor térmico,
etc.).
- Desligue o terminal negativo (-) da
bateria antes de mexer no sistema
eléctrico ou antes de efectuar ope-
rações no empilhador (por exemplo:
soldaduras).
- Não apoie objectos metálicos sobre a
bateria.
- Para efectuar uma soldadura eléctrica
no empilhador, ponha o terminal do
cabo negativo da máquina de soldar
directamente na peça a soldar, para
evitar que a corrente muito forte atra-
vesse o alternador.
B - Manutenção.
- Efectuar a manutenção e manter o
estado de conformidade do empilhador
são operações obrigatórias.
- Faça a manutenção diária (ver o capí-
tulo: A - TODOS OS DIAS OU A CADA
10 HORAS DE TRABALHO, na parte:
3 - MANUTENÇÃO).
- Não deixe o motor térmico funcionar
sem o filtro de ar ou com perdas de
óleo, de água ou de combustível.
Espere que o motor térmico esteja arre-
fecido antes de tirar o tampão do radia-
dor.
- Substitua os cartuchos dos filtros (ver
a frequência de substituição no capítu-
lo ELEMENTOS FILTRANTES E COR-
REIAS, na parte: 3 - MANUTENÇÃO).
C - Níveis.
- Utilize os lubrificantes recomendados
(nunca empregue lubrificantes já usa-
dos).
- Não encha o depósito de combustível
com o motor térmico a funcionar.
- Faça o abastecimento de combustível
só nas áreas adequadas e previstas
para esta finalidade.

- Attenzione ai rischi di ustioni
(Scappamento, radiatore, motore
termico, ecc.).
- Scollegare il capocorda negativo (-)
dalla batteria prima di lavorare sull'im-
pianto elettrico o sul carrello elevatore
(Es. : Saldatura).
- Non posare pezzi metallici sulla
batteria.
- Per effettuare una saldatura elettrica
sul carrello elevatore, porre la pinza
del cavo negativo della saldatrice diret-
tamente sul pezzo da saldare, onde
evitare che la corrente molto forte
attraversi l'alternatore.
B - Manutenzione.
- La manutenzione e il mantenimento
dello stato di conformità del carrello
elevatore sono obbligatori.
- Effettuare la manutenzione giornaliera
(Vedi capitolo : A - OGNI GIORNO O
OGNI 10 ORE DI FUNZIONAMENTO
nella parte : 3 - MANUTENZIONE).
- Non far funzionare il motore termico
senza il filtro dell'aria o con perdite
d'olio, d'acqua o di combustibile.
Aspettare il raffreddamento del
motore termico prima di rimuovere
il tappo del radiatore.
- Sostituire le cartucce dei filtri (Vedi
periodicità di sostituzione nel capitolo
ELEMENTI FILTRANTI E CINGHIE
nella parte : 3 - MANUTENZIONE).
C - Livelli.
- Utilizzare i lubrificanti raccomandati
(Non utilizzare mai lubrificanti usati).
- Non riempire il serbatoio del
combustibile quando il motore termico
è in funzione.
- Effettuare il pieno di combustibile solo
negli appositi spazi previsti a tale
scopo.
