Environmental note
Disposing of “DEF”:
- Due to its easy degradability, small
amounts of spilt “DEF” can be washed into
the sewage system without any problems.
- Larger amounts of “DEF” must be disposed
of correctly, observing the regulations on
waste treatment/disposal.
- Packaging that is contaminated with
“DEF” residue must be treated in the
same way as “DEF”. Packaging should be
emptied as thoroughly as possible, cleaned
appropriately and then recycled.
- Check the indicator on the instruments
panel.
- If necessary, add “DEF” (see: 3 -
MAINTENANCE: LUBRICANTS AND FUEL).
- Open the “3” (fig.A6) door to access the
tank for “DEF” refuelling.
- Remove cap “1” (Fig.A6) using a contact
wrench.
- Fill the tank with clean filtered “DEF”
through filler hole “2” (Fig. A6).
- Refit the cap.
- Inspect the tank and pipes for leaks.

Avvertenza per la tutela ambientale
Smaltimento del “DEF”:
- Una piccola quantità di “DEF” versata
accidentalmente non è problematica. Il
prodotto è facilmente biodegradabile e si
può disperdere senza problemi nella rete
fognaria utilizzando molta acqua.
- Per lo smaltimento di maggiori quantità
di “DEF” attenersi sempre ai requisiti della
legge sulla protezione dell’ambiente e il
riciclo/l’eliminazione dei rifiuti.
- Le confezioni contenenti residui di
“DEF” devono venire sottoposte ad un
trattamento analogo come per il “DEF”.
Svuotare integralmente le confezioni del
loro contenuto; in questo modo dopo
essere state pulite le confezioni potranno
essere riutilizzate.
- Controllare l’indicatore sul quadro
strumenti.
- Se necessario aggiungere fluido
“DEF” (vedere: 3 - MANUTENZIONE:
LUBRIFICANTI E CARBURANTE).
- Aprire lo sportellino d’accesso “3” (fig.A6)
al bocchettone di riempimento del fluido
“DEF”.
- Togliere il tappo “1”(fig.A6) del
bocchettone di riempimento.
- Rabboccare il serbatoio con fluido “DEF”
incontaminato e fresco, attraverso il
bocchettone di riempimento “2” (fig.A6).
- Rimettere il tappo “1”(fig.A6).
- Mediante un controllo visivo accertarsi
che non vi siano perdite sul serbatoio e le
tubazioni.
Hinweis für den Umweltschutz
Entsorgung des "DEF":
- Eine kleine Menge verschüttetes "DEF"
ist nicht problematisch. Das Produkt ist
leicht biologisch abbaubar und kann
im Abwassernetz mit viel Wasser ohne
Probleme aufgelöst werden.
- Für die Entsorgung größerer Mengen
"DEF" hält man sich an die gesetzlichen
Vorschriften für den Umweltschutz und die
Abfallentsorgung/das Recycling.
- Die Verpackungen mit Rückständen
von "DEF" müssen ähnlich entsorgt
werden, wie der "DEF". Die Verpackungen
komplett leeren; auf diese Weise können
die Verpackungen, nach der Reinigung,
wieder verwendet werden.
- Tankanzeige am Armaturenbrett
kontrollieren.
- Im Bedarfsfall "DEF"-Flüssigkeit nachfüllen
(vgl.: 3 - WARTUNG: SCHMIERMITTEL UND
KRAFTSTOFF).
- Die Klappe "3" (Abb. A6) der
Einfüllöffnung der "DEF"-Flüssigkeit
öffnen.
- Den Stopfen "1" (Abb. A6) der
Einfüllöffnung entfernen.
- Den Tank mit der sauberen und kalten
"DEF" Flüssigkeit über die Einfüllöffnung
"2" (Abb. A6) nachfüllen.
- Den Stopfen "1" (Abb. A6) wieder
anbringen.
- Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter und
Bremsleitungen mittels Sichtprüfung auf
Dichtheit prüfen.
