THE
INFORMATION

THE
DISPLAY

Each
Compact
Disc
has,
along
with
the
music,
a
list
of
contents
detailing
the
numbers
of
the
tracks,
the
playing
time
of
each
track
and
the
total
playing
time
of
the
disc.
The
player
always
scans
this
first
and
stores
it
in
its
memory
in
order,
for
instance,
to
provide
information
via
the
display.

Lights
up
when
the
piayer
is
switched
to
PROGRAM
mode.

when
you
switch
the
player
on.

when
the
table
of
contents
of
a
disc
is
being
traced.

out
and
a
few
moments
later
playback
starts.
You
can

start
play

track
number
indicator
shows
how
many
tracks
there
are
on
the
disc.
Each
time
a
track
has
been
played,
the
corresponding
number
goes
out.
The
track/index
number
being
played
is
always
shown
under
TRACK
and
INDEX.
The
elapsed
playing
time
of
the
current
track
is
always
shown
under
MIN
and
SEC.

last
track
has
been
played,
play
will
stop.
The
display
again
shows

number

tracks
and
the
playing
time
of
the
disc.

open

tray

remove
