Transferring files
1. With recorder power off,
connect USB cable from
recorder to computer and
connect DC power cable
(AC to power supply, power
supply to recorder).
2. Push and hold down the
COPY/USB button while you
turn on the recorder (USB is
shown in recorder display).
3. The recorder will appear in the My Computer window just like a flash drive.
When finished, remove like a flash drive using icon in Windows Taskbar.
The audio files are in a folder called MPGLANG1. Copy the files to the computer and, to be
safe, make BACKUP files immediately. Please note: when the recorder is returned to Leavey,
all audio files will be erased as part of the check-in procedure.
