The
wires
in
the
mains
lead
are
coloured
in
accordance
with
the
following
code:
brown
is
the
live
wire
blue
is
the
neutral
wire
Because
the
colours
of
these
wires
may
not
correspond
with
the
terminal
identification
in
your
plug,
proceed
as
follows.
Connect
the:
brown
wire
the
terminal
marked
‘L’
or
coloured
brown
or
red
blue
wire
to
the
terminal
marked
‘N’
or
coloured
blue
or
black.
When
using
a
13
A
plug
conforming
to
BS1363,
use
a
3
A
fuse.
For
other
plugs,
use
a
5
A
or
lower
rated
fuse
in
the
plug,
adaptor
or
at
the
distribution.board.

Connect
the

your
stereo
tuner
to
the
TUNER
jacks
of
this
unit.
CONNECTION

Connect
the
output
jacks

your
CD
player
to
the
CD
jacks
of
this
unit.
CONNECTION

TURNTABLE
Connect
the
L
(Left)
output
cord
of
the
turntable
to
the
“L”
PHONO
jack
of
this
unit,
and.connect
the
R
(Right)
output
cord.to
the
“R”
PHONO
jack.
Also
be
sure
to
connect
the
turntable’s
grounding
wire
to
the
GND
jack
of
this
unit.
The
GND
jack
does
not
have
to
be
connected
if
the
turntable
is
not
provided
with
a
grounding
wire.

Connect
the
grounding
wire
from
the
turntable
to
this
terminal.

CARTRIDGE
SELECTOR
SWITCH
When
the
INPUT
SELECTOR
is
set
to
PHONO,
the
type
of
cartridge
used
on
the
turntable
can
be
selected
between
MM
(Moving
Magnet)
-
and
MC
(Moving
Coil)
using
this
switch.
Set
this
switch
according
to
the
cartridge
used
on
your
turntable.
MC
(HIGH/LOW)
is
selected
when
this
switch
is
set
to
the
low
position.
_MC.HIGH:For
MC
cartridges
with
a
load
impedance
of
more
than
100
ohms.

are
auxiliary
input
jacks
which
can
be
used
to
conncect
the
audio
outputs

A/V
components
such

a
TV
multiplex/stereo
audio
tuner,
VCR
and
laserdisc
player.
